🌟Sparkling Innovations: Stars and Electronics🌟
Who knew a classroom could become a mini galaxy? That’s exactly what happened when during our “Stars and Electronics” workshop, where imagination met science in the most electric way possible.
Even tricky science concepts become simple when you turn them into games. The students learned about the constellation, the atom and electricity concepts through various, different games. They played roles of electrons and protons to form uncharged atoms, negatively charged atoms, and positively charged atoms. Through Cola Run Race, they visualized positive and negative charges and made the “magic” happened: run the cans without touching it! ⚡To wrap it all up, they explored how a circuit works. The entire class linked hands to form a giant closed loop, and together they powered an electronic energy tube, lighting it up as one big human circuit.
Tiny hands, big imagination!! Thanks to all that hands-on science fun, the students, now armed with new knowledge, were ready to make their own circuits and star projectors. With nothing but paper cups, circuits, and a whole lot of imagination, our brilliant young creators made their very own star projector. They were bursting with happiness as their star projectors lit up the room—shouting, “I’m a scientist!” with beaming smiles and glowing lights to match.
“Thank you for a great workshop. The children really enjoyed it.”
“I feel so excited. I feel like a scientist.”
Many thanks to volunteers from Workday and our funder for making this incredible learning experience possible:
