🚀🚀2025-2026: Rocket Science

We started by exploring Newton’s Third Law: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction ⚛️. To make this idea easier to understand, we looked at a few everyday examples🛹🎈🏊. From those examples, we discovered an important idea — if you want to move in one direction, you need to push in the opposite direction. 🤲

So what about rockets? 🤔If a rocket wants to go up into the sky, which direction should the fire go? Exactly — downwards! With this in mind, it was time to build. 🙌 We designed and constructed our own rockets, from the body to the nose cone and fins🎨🎨. Once ready, we headed outside to put them to the test — launching rockets using our own rocket launchers and watching our designs take flight!

This time, students joined us on our Grangegorman campus🏫, experiencing a new learning environment while diving into the science behind rockets. It was an unforgettable way to finish!👏👏 We are incredibly grateful to our founders for their support and for giving our students the opportunity to complete all five workshops:
