Try Five+ Showcase 2026 is to celebrate this year of hands-on STEM learning and creativity for participating schools. Students will gather at TU Dublin’s Grangegorman Campus to celebrate their achievements, share their learning, and showcase the innovative moonbase models and space station models.
During the event, student teams will present their projects to a panel of judges from Workday company, explaining how they designed living spaces on the Moon/space station, generated and conserved energy, produced food, and worked together to solve challenges. The showcase provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate not only their STEM knowledge they learnt through Try Five+ workshops, but also the collaborative problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills they have developed throughout the programme.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Naomi Lavelle, scientist, author, and science communicator, who will deliver an interactive talk on bee science and share insights into her career journey in STEM.
The event will conclude with the announcement of the art competition winners, followed by a prize-giving and certificate presentation celebrating the creativity, innovation, and hard work of all participating students.
