🌟 It’s that exciting time of the year again – the WOMEN in Space Poster Competition is back!🌟
For the next 2 weeks, your 4th & 5th class students in the Try Five + Project will have the chance to create incredible posters celebrating the amazing women who have shaped the world of space exploration and science. (If the participating class in your school are 5th & 6th or mixed, they are also welcome to join. In other word, the competition is only open to Try Five+ classes.)
For the students who joined last year, they can pick a different woman to research.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
🎨 Submission Deadline: 3rd of October 2025
🎨 Submit the top FIVE posters from your class
🎨 Prizes will be awarded for the best posters in each school! 🏅
RESULTS:
🗓️ Judging: 6th of October
🎉 Prizegiving Ceremony: 8th of October, TU Dublin Grangegorman Campus
🔎 WHY IS THIS SO IMPORTANT? 🔍
There are so many incredible women who have helped us explore space and expand the boundaries of science. Sadly, their work wasn’t always noticed as much as it should have been. By learning about these trailblazing women, your students can see that anyone can be a scientist or go to space—no matter who they are! 🚀👩🚀
This project helps break stereotypes and inspires kids to dream big! 🌠
